How long does a project take?

The duration of a project depends primarily on two factors:

  • The complexity of the product being developed.
  • The speed of client feedback, approvals, and revisions.

Product development is typically completed in around one month. This phase includes pattern making, the development of the first prototype, technical revisions, and final prototype approval.

Once product development has been approved, production timelines will depend on the order quantities, selected materials, and sourcing lead times.

From the start of the project, we provide a clear timeline outlining each stage of development and production, allowing you to track progress and plan your launch with confidence.

  • Complete Product Development

    $ 750

    Product development is billed in two stages: a 50% deposit upon approval of the quotation, followed by the remaining 50% before delivery of the final prototype and all production-ready technical documentation.

Pricing Based on Project Complexity

Product development starts at $750 per style. This entry price applies to the simplest product designs.

The final price depends on several factors, including:

  • The complexity of the design
  • The number of pattern pieces that make up the garment
  • Construction techniques and finishing details
  • Specific fabrics, trims, and materials
  • The number of prototypes and revision rounds required

Every project is individually assessed to provide a tailored quotation based on your specific requirements.

What Happens Next?

  • Once product development is complete, you will have a validated prototype along with all the technical documentation required to manufacture your product. From there, you have several options.

  • Manufacture with ALCYN

    Continue your project with ALCYN. We manage fabric and trims sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, and the delivery of your finished products, ensuring a seamless transition from development to production.

  • Manufacture with Another Manufacturer

    You are free to manufacture your products with the manufacturing partner of your choice. The patterns, technical documentation, and all materials developed for your project belong to you, in accordance with the terms outlined in your quotation.

  • Pause Your Project

    You can also choose to postpone your launch. All the materials developed for your project remain your property and can be used whenever you're ready to continue.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our manufacturing services start from 100 units.

Can I produce multiple sizes?

Yes. Production quantities are distributed according to the size breakdown agreed upon before production begins.

Can I provide my own fabrics?

Yes. You are welcome to supply your own fabrics. Our team will carry out a technical assessment to ensure they are suitable for your product and production requirements

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We work with brands in France and around the world, and we can arrange international shipping for your orders.

Can I manufacture a product that has already been developed?

Yes. If your product has already been developed, we can manufacture it based on your approved prototype, patterns, and technical documentation. Our team will review your files to ensure they meet our production and quality requirements before manufacturing begins.
